NotesDidymella was emended to accommodate Peyronellaea and several other phoma-like species (Chen et al. 2015). They are ubiquitous and occur as pathogens and endophytes on a wide range of hosts (Chen et al. 2015, 2017, Jayasiri et al. 2017b). Most species produce chlamydospores in culture.
