Phyllostictaceae Fr., Summa veg. Scand., Sectio Post. (Stockholm): 420 (1849) Index Fungorum number: IF81162; Phyllostictaceae was introduced by Fries (1849), which was accepted by Hawksworth & David (1989). Wikee et al. (2013b) proposed Phyllostictaceae as a distinct family in Botryosphaeriales. This family was accepted and re-instated by Slippers et al. (2013).
