Pseudoarthropsis Stchigel, Rodr.-Andr. & Cano, gen. nov.

Etymology: From Greek ψευδής-, resembling, because the morphological semblance to Arthropsis.

Diagnosis: Mycelium composed by hyaline to orange, septate hyphae. Conidiophores consisting of fertile lateral branches and a portion of the main subtending  hypha, with all these structures disintegrating into yellowish or- ange, thin-walled, cylindrical to cuboid enteroarthric co- nidia, or into hyaline, thick-walled, ellipsoidal, globose to barrel-shaped holoarthric conidia.
