NotesSporormia is coprophilous on dung of several animals in terrestrial habitats (Ahmed & Asad 1986, Barr 2000, Kruys & Wedin 2009, Zhang et al. 2012b, Gonzalez-Menendez et al. 2017). Sporormia fimetaria is characterized by black, papillate ascomata, thin peridium, with 16– 20-celled ascospores, easily separating into part spores and lacking germ slits (Zhang et al. 2012b). Asexual morph characters of Sporormia is not verified.
