Etymology: Referring to the place of occurrence of the new genus – slopes of Nevado Sajama, the highest mountain in Bolivia.

Description: Mycoparasitic. Conidiomata pycnidial, uniloculate to multi-loculate, subglobose to irregular in shape, pale brown. Peridium composed of several layers of isodia- metric to slightly elongate cells in the form of textura angularis. Conidiophores hyaline, reduced to phialidic conidiogenous cells. Conidia pigmented (pale brown), broadly ellipsoidal, aseptate, smooth, thin-walled, guttulate.
