Notes – Jaklitsch & Voglmayr (2020) introduced Synfenestella to accommodate two species S. pyri and S. sorbi. It is interesting that these taxa having a direct association with Cytospora and Diaporthe impulse, thus parasitism on other fungi may be possible in this genus.
