Notes – Pseudosarcostroma, introduced by Liu et al. (2019a) is phylogenetically related to Broomella, Bartalinia, Truncatella, Parabartalinia, and Diversimediispora. It shares similar characters with Sarcostroma, such as having conidia bearing a single appendage at each end, with an undulate or verruculose conidial wall (Liu et al. 2019a). The genus was recorded from France on Osyris alba (Liu et al. 2019a).
