Type species – Phylleutypa dioscoreae (Wakef.) Petr.

Notes – Phylleutypa, typified by P. dioscoreae, is a stromatic parasite on the Dioscorea species (Wakefield 1918, Petrak 1934). This genus currently comprises two additional taxa, P. kalmiae and P. wittrockii.
