Tricholosporum Guzmán.
Notes – Tricholosporum is a small, widely distributed genus with 16 species (Index Fungorum Partnership 2024). The species of the genus are characterized by purplish or violaceous lamellae, cruciform to stauriform basidiospores, presence of cheilo- and pleurocystidia in lamellae, with the exception of T. atroviolaceum (Murrill) T.J. Baroni that lacks hymenial cystidia (Angelini et al. 2017; Xu et al. 2018; Mou and Bau 2021).
