Pileus 1.0 – 3.0 cm in diameter, pallid yellow to dark- brown,  domed, hemispherical, sometimes with barely defined blunt umbo, slimy,  viscid when damp, otherwise smooth, slightly sliny, finely sulcate- striate almost to the centre, margin splitting and finally reflexed. Flesh pallid, delicate and thin. Stipe length 6.0 – 10.0cm × 0.2– 0.3 cm in diameter, pallid ochraceous to dark brown to almost white at the apex, very slender, cylindrical, smooth,  equal. Stipe with ring zone, which is  whitish, superior and  ephemeral. Lamellae  at first pallid-clay, becoming purple- brown at maturity, adnate, crowded. Spores purplish- brown,smooth,  ellipsoid, 5.0 – 6.0 × 3.0 – 4.0µm with a distinct germ pore,wall smoothbut thin at the regions of germ pores. Lamella edge cystidia clavate but gill face cystidia fusiform or flask- shaped with pointed apex.

Ecology and distribution: Stropharia semiglobata has been reported  to be growing on ————————– In the present study, S. semiglobata is found growing in troops on droppings of herbivorous animals in open pasturelands.
