NotesPseudonectriella was established by Pseudorhynchia polyrrhyncha which found on Elettaria sp. in Java (Höhnel 1909b). The genus is characterized by subglobose ascomata with setae surrounded by ostiole and cylindrical to clavate asci with ellipsoid ascospores. Dulymamode et al. (2001) introduced the second species, Pseudorhynchia mauritiana, found on fallen leaves of Cordemoya integrifolia in Mauritius.
