MycoBank number: MB 838914; Index Fungorum number: IF 838914; Facesoffungi number: FoF;
Etymology: Refers to its morphological resemblance to the genus Canariomyces.
Description: —Ascomata cleistothecial, solitary, globose to subglobose, ascomatal wall semitranslucent to brown, with textura angularis and textura epidermoidea. Posterior probabilities (C 0.95, left) and bootstrap values (80–100%, right) are shown on the nodes. T = type strain.
