Type species – Ophiodothis vorax (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Sacc.

Notes – There are around 33 species described in this genus (Index Fungorum 2020), however, only six species currently belong to Phyllachoraceae, while others are referred to various families, such as the Clavicipitaceae. Sequence data are not available for any of the Ophiodothis species.
