(x̅ =273.2 × 246.7 μm,n = 10), globose to subglobose, solitary, dark brown to black, immersed, substrate stained purple, fused to the host tissue, ostiolate. Ostiole 60-80 μmhigh 25-50 μmdiam. (x̅= 72.7 × 34.7 μm, n = 5) short to papillate, black, smooth, opening to exterior through bark surface. Peridium 10-20 μmwide at the base, 15-25 μm wide in sides, comprising 3-4 layers of dark brown cells textura angularis, with inner 1-2 layers of cells thin-walled and hyaline. Hamathecium comprising numerous, 1.5-2 μm (n = 30) wide, filamentous, branched, septate, pseudoparaphyses.
