Saprobic on dead twigs of various plants in terrestrial habitats. Sexual morph: Undetermined. Asexual morph: coelomycetous. Conidiomata pycnidial, scattered, immersed to erumpent, unilocular, globose to subglobose or slightly obpyriform, black, opening by an irregular pore. Conidiomata wall several layers, composed of hyaline to brown paraplectenchymatous cells. Conidiophores reduce to Conidiogenous cells. Conidiogenous cells integrated, terminal, determinate, phialidic, simple to strongly branched, lageniform to cylindrical, pale olivaceous brown to brown, smooth-walled. Conidia solitary, acrogenous, ellipsoidal, with truncate base and a persistent marginal frill, subhyaline to pale brown, 1-septate, straight or curved, smooth-walled or verrucose-walled at maturity.
