Camarophyllopsis Herink.
Notes – The genus Camarophyllopsis Herink was described by Herink (1958) and Camarophyllopsis schulzeri (Bres.) Herink was selected as the type species. As one of the agaricoid genera within Clavariaceae, Camarophyllopsis is characterized by the usually small agaricoid basidiomata, hygrophanous pileus and basidia, subglobose to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores, and cutis pileipellis composed of chains of ellipsoid or cylindrical cells with numerous repent hyphal terminations (Birkebak et al. 2016; Zhang et al. 2019c). Recent phylogenetic studies support the genus as a monophyletic group (Birkebak et al. 2016; Zhang et al. 2019c).
